Oral & Poster Contributions
Abstracts are invited for oral or poster presentations during the congress. Original contributions on advancements in the thermal spray technology including all processes such as flame spray and atmospheric plasma spraying, and more kinetic processes like cold gas spraying (CGS), high velocity oxygen and air fuel spraying (HVOF, HVAF, aerosol deposition), and suspensions and solutions thermal spraying (SPS, SPPS) are welcome. As the conference is a forum for intense exchange between scientists, contributions should give in-depth analyses of spray processes. Contributions that use diagnostic tools and conventional and advanced analytical methods to study the microstructure, optics, mechanics, physics, chemistry, and other properties of sprayed coatings are also expected. Additionally, contributions related to the application of thermally sprayed coatings for example in energy conversion systems are welcome.
The presented papers can be published in a professional journal such as Surface and Coatings Technology (Elsevier).

Educational Course
On Wednesday, June 11, 2026 an educational course for newcomers in the thermal spray business will be given by experienced seniors in the field: Šárka Houdková, Shrikant V. Joshi, Chang-Jiu Li, Georg Mauer and Lech Pawłowski.
Industrial Exhibition
Companies are invited to present their products on:
Thermal spraying (spray equipment, diagnostics…), Materials for spraying (powders, suspensions precursors…). Characterization tools (mechanical tests, microstructural analysis…)

Welcome Reception
The welcome reception will be on Wednesday evening, June 10, 2026 at the forum M, Aachen and is a good occasion to get to know other participants and for dialogue with colleagues. A young scientist exchange forum will take place during the reception.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner on Thursday June 11, 2026 will take place at the reaturant Elisenbrunnen in the heart of Aachen. During the conference dinner the three poster awards will be presented.
